Hey all! Well, Spring term is out and I am not taking summer classes so I have a lot more time to work on the game now :). But I need some suggestions of things to add. Those of you who rembember the old SL game, please send me a Yemail, or even better, post them in the SL forum,with some things you would like to see back. I do not have ANY of my old scripts anymore so I will have to re-code my old stuff from scratch, but I really want to try to get this site back to the way it used to be. Thankyou so much for the support and loyalty you all have shown since we've been back. We love you all! ~ShadowRaven P.S: If anyone has or knows anyone that may have any of my old modules that were not publicly released on DP, please let me know so I can get back a copy! :)

The domain names May change Unlike last time when we changed from a free to a paid service on our current host, we have decided to switch to a completely different host. This decision was made after several occasions in which one or both sites were down due to server problems. Truth is, we're tired of paying for a service that is down more than it's working. The final straw was yesterday, when our server was hit with a DDOS attack. We were told that the site would be down for three hours. We were down for most of the day. Over the last few weeks, we've had several issues arise with our service and when we submitted tickets to support, we received automated responses, or responses from people who knew less about networking, servers and the like than my 6 year old autistic nephew does. I had to research the issue, then tell the technician what was wrong and how to fix it! When we know more about the problems and their remedies than the 'Tech Support' guys do...that's a problem. As a result, we are switching to a new host that has better (We hope) support than our current host, runs a bit faster and costs a little less per month than the host we are currently are using. What this means is, we will be down for possibly a day. When we are back up and running, hopefully it will also mean less downtime. This will not be happening immediately. I am going to try to time the change over in a way that limits the amount of time we are down. I am hoping that by doing the changeover late at night (for us) that it will limit the inconvenience to you, our users. Please bear with us as we try to bring you the best experience possible on our sites. Thank you all for your support. PS. I believe we've used the host we're switching to before. I think the reason we switched away from them was due to a need to go to a dedicated server because of our user volume. As we grow, we will likely have to change hosts again, but at present, we are small and do not need a dedicated server host.

Some of you may have seen that the site was down. this was because the server was a victim of a DDoS attack and our host disabled it until the attack stopped. If you have never played before, be sure to read the Help! I'm Lost! link first. SOme tips for not dieing in the forest: 1, Don't try fighting in the forest right away....explore a little, find out what things are available to do or get. 2. Remember to buy a weapon and armor first! 3. pay attention to your hitpoints and heal when needed. This is a game of exploration so explore all the things to do and have fun! The forum will be ready soon incase you need help with something . In the meantime, just use the 'Petition for help' link at the top of the page. Happy Hunting! ~Raven
